Afghanistan's women's movement was put back 20 years after Kabul fell in August 2021, because women and girls were no longer permitted to go to school or work outside the house. This collection was inspired by the amazing and enigmatic tale of the discovery of the Tillye Tepe treasure hoard which was found in Northern Afghanistan and features over 20,000 pieces found across 6 tombs. The key themes of this collection include those of Courage, Love and Renewal, with each design being inspired by ancient pieces from the Tillya Tepe Collection. $10 from each necklace sold in this collection will be donated to the Afghanistan Livelihoods Project.
